With projection becoming more and more current, manufacturer’s constantly evolving and the market becoming ever bigger – RGB have recently expanded their Projection and Image Processing division by bringing George Wrightson on board as an additional Sales Executive, primarily to focus on NEC business.

Projection is no longer just used for cinema, boardroom and classroom applications but is now more recently used by artists, advertisers and events companies in an increasingly advanced manner. With this in mind, RGB are proud to offer their customers well-known brands in the projection game with superior optics and features to suit a variety of markets and applications.

The portfolio consists of; Barco, high resolution and high brightness projection and image processing equipment for the rental and staging, live events, commercial and education markets. NEC installation projectors which incorporate amazing image production with technically advance software features. Canon XEED projectors with superior lens and image quality that the Canon brand is known for and Draper automated and custom projection screens and projector lifts for both residential and commercial markets.

As well as adding an extra resource to the sales team, RGB have also signed a new agreement with NEC to expand their offering to now distribute the entire P range of projectors; the P, PA, PH and PX series of professional and installation projectors (rather than previously just the PH and PX). This includes the laser models that offer reliable and consistent colour reproduction and maintenance free operation removing the need to replace lamps and filters.

NEC products are engineered to an exceptionally high standard, meaning NEC builds to an application, not a price. The projectors have excellent brightness and connectivity and every professional series projector comes as standard with a unique suite of software to wirelessly connect to the projector, whether in room or remote, single or multiple presenters.

RGB’s Projection and Image Processing department is made up by Mark Ryan (Technical Manager), Jane Pryor (Field Sales & Product Specialist), Sam Atwell, Tim Goddard and George Wrightson (Internal Sales Executives). The team are extremely knowledgeable and have combined experience of over 60 years in the AV industry!
