HDMI over HDBaseT™ Extender

AA-NDS-970HD-KIT

The Absolute Acoustics® NDS-970HD is a HDMI over HDBaseT™ extender kit capable of transmitting audio, video, control and Ethernet network signals for distances up to 328ft (100m) over a single twisted-pair cable.

NDS-970HD is capable to extend 1080p video up to 328ft (100m) and 4K/UHD video up to 230ft (70) with embedded multi-channel audio, RS232 and bi-directional IR control signals. Also, a built-in Ethernet extension provides 3 additional ports for connection of streaming and control devices. Both TX and RX units can be remotely powered by PoC technology (a single power supply is required), cleaning up the installation.

And as a singular feature in extensors, the NDS-970 provides a kit of tools for audio signals treatment: via HDMI-ARC and digital optical audio connections, it is possible to send the audio from the display across the system. A pair of RCA connectors at the TX-side make the de-embedding, allowing the connection to multi-room controllers.

Features & Benefits

  • UHD/4K ENABLED - Compatible with the new ultra-high definition sources and displays, sending signals with resolutions up to 2160@30 with YCbCr 4:4:4, or 2160@60 with 4:2:0 colour format
  • HDMI-CEC BYPASS - Allows HDMI-CEC commands to pass between devices, enabling user to control the entire system with a single remote
  • HDCP 2.2 COMPLIANT - Fully licensed and compatible with HDCP 2.2 content protection specification, enabling the transmission of ultra-high definition signals directly from the source
  • ETHERNET EXTENSION - A built-in Ethernet extension gives 3 additional network ports for connection of streaming and control devices
  • AUDIO TOOLS - HDMI-ARC, optical and analogue audio embedding/de-embedding gives the flexibility to solve any installation scenario
  • PoC TECHNOLOGY - Both TX and RX units can be remotely powered due to bidirectional PoC technology, simplifying the installation process
