The CR-N500 and CR-N300 represent a new generation of Canon PTZ cameras with smooth pan, tilt functionality, image stabilization and outstanding 4K image quality. Aimed at live production, broadcast and on-event streaming plus corporate, Houses of Worship, education, small scale events and government use, they offer superb image quality with features such as 4K resolution, a highly versatile zoom range - 15x optical on CR-N500 and 20x on the CR-N300 - plus support for a wide variety of streaming and control protocols.

Powerful 4K imagery

A 4K sensor and DIGIC DV6 processor delivers high quality 4K UHD 30P or Full HD images thanks to Over Sampling HD processing, resulting in superb clarity. 

20x or 15x optical zooms to get closer

Capture all the detail thanks to Canon’s advanced 4K optical layout. Featuring a 20x optical zoom (29.3-601mm 35mm equivalent) on the CR-N300 and 15x Optical zoom (25.5-382.5mm 35mm equivalent) on the CR-N500, both cameras provide refined and capable zooming.

World Class focusing

The CR-N500 features the industry renowned Dual Pixel CMOS Auto Focus making focusing incredibly precise and quick to ensure outstanding image capture, whilst the CR-N300 features Hybrid Auto Focus to ensure rapid and accurate focusing even in low light.

Seamless integration

The new cameras boast a comprehensive range of IP streaming and control protocols1such as NDI|HX2, RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP and Canon’s XC Protocol making them easy to integrate into any workflows and stream up to 4K UHD 30P.

Stunning results in low light

The cameras’ 4K CMOS sensors and DIGIC DV6 processors produce low noise imagery and the CR-N500 only requires a minimum illumination of 1.5 lux.

Comprehensive connectivity

The two new cameras feature a wide array of connectors such as a 3G-SDI Port, USB Port (CR-N300), XLR Audio (CR-N500), PoE+ and an efficient HDMI port which can capture in 4K UHD 30P 4:2:2 10-bit.

Smooth and precise control

Both the CR-N500 and CR-N300 are equipped with a high-precision drive mechanism which enables the Pan and Tilt movement to be finely adjusted at variable speeds to capture the perfect shot using Canon’s RC-IP100 controller, Canon’s free of charge Remote Camera Control Application and other selected third-party controllers.
