Metra - Velox 8K Fiber HDMI
MetraAV showcased its award-winning Velox 8K fiber HDMI cable for the first time to ISE attendees. The EHV-HDG2 series cable supports 48Gbps up to 100 meters and is the longest of several HDMI cables designed by MetraAV that support 8K resolutions. All colour subsampling is supported, including 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0, deep color, and Dynamic HDR, allowing the full-range 4K/120, 8K, and even 10K specs to be supported. Cutting-edge built-in technology also ensures compatibility between the source and display. It received a 2020 Residential Top New Technology award for the 100-meter model, the EHV-HDG2-100.
Artnovion Modular Cinema Series
Acoustic specialists, Artnovion, launched their new Cinema Series - a flexible range of acoustic solutions that can be adapted for a wide variety of environments and is tailored into beautiful, multifunctional designs. Cinema Series products form a modular panel system, provided with four different types of core: an Absorber, a Diffuser, a Bass Trap, and a Speaker core.
Lutron Wireless Palladiom Shades
Lutron revealed its plans for expanded services along with showcasing HomeWorks lighting control updates and an expanded line of luxury products including wire-free Palladiom exposed roller shades.
The Palladiom Shading System redefines the beauty of daylight control and is now available wire-free, as well as wired. The shading solution includes an innovative mechanism which enables up to six batteries to be installed and changed without moving the blind.
Lutron also showcased their new Wooden Triathlon blinds to attendees - more information coming soon.
Savant Lutron LEAP Integration
Savant announced the introduction of Lutron LEAP integration. This solution delivers Savant’s award-winning Daylight Mode to the worldwide market for the first time. Savant’s Daylight Mode is completely configurable inside the Savant Pro App and delivers dynamic lighting that seamlessly adjusts throughout the day. Daylight Mode requires compatible tunable white fixtures, and with the introduction of Lutron LEAP integration, consumers can now personalise their 24-hour circadian cycle and set dynamic scenes that activate lights to just the right color temperature no matter the time of day or night.
Designed to promote healthy living, Daylight Mode debuted in North America in 2020 and is now available internationally. The Savant app intelligently adjusts for related factors such as geography, time zone and season. Beyond the scientific defaults, users can effortlessly personalise their lighting experience by adjusting timing, intensity, and colour temperature settings to perfectly suit their daily habits. Users can turn on and off Daylight Mode in specific rooms of the home from within the Savant App, plus have keypad buttons to instantly override circadian settings for specific task lighting, entertainment settings and more.
This new update requires purchase of LEAP Bridge and Essentials license to maintain integration.
Savant also announced their partnership with Black Nova, Black Nova’s Smart Design-Keypads feature a luxurious user experience plus exceptional quality and attention to detail. Integration with Black Nova coming late 2022.
