Meet Polar Bear Design's 'The Ursium', in collaboration with Lutron

RGB's vendor Polar Bear Design have announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Lutron Electronics. The partnership brings a luxurious line of thermostats that are fully compatible with Lutron's lighting control system to the market and will provide interior designers in the luxury sector with a thermostat that perfectly complements their design vision.
Both Polar Bear Design and Lutron are known for their commitment to bringing style and advanced craftmanshipt to HVAC control and lighting control. In this partnership, the companies aim to continue to provide customers with a seamless design aesthetic.
The exciting new Ursium Pro Thermostats from Polar Bear Design draws design inspiration from Lutron's Alisse keypad range, resulting in a product that seamlessly integrates with the existing styling. Polar Bear Design will be using Lutron's authorized UK finishing partner to match the Alisse keypad finishes.
Additionally, the Polar Bear Design team will be working to integrate their thermostats into the Lutron system (through the Lutron LEAP integration protocol). This advanced control method, combined with Polar Bear Design's powerful ecosystem, such as Edge BMS and full heating and cooling management, provides customers with a highly refined and sophisticated solution.
The Ursium Pro Thermostat is a remarkable device that offers a range of features designed to provide ultimate comfort and control. It allows the user to control two rooms from one device with automatic management of underfloor heating and cooling without the need for any BMS controls. The thermostat includes built-in EdgeBMS and HeatBoost technology, seven programmable inputs on the back of the unit, and a clean and timeless design. The device is presented to the user with a tactile Digital Crown and an IPS Colour Touch Screen for an unparalleled user experience. All of these features are housed in a European-styled frame that can be mounted in a standard single UK back box.
The Ursium Pro Thermostat was first showcased at the ISE show in January 2023 and has since received widespread recognition for its exceptional design and functionality.
