Polar Bear Design’s Zentium Thermostats can now be installed retrospectively. By utilizing Polar Bear’s innovative wiring hub the thermostats can use the existing category cabling and star topology common with other systems. Perfect for upgrading an aging system without the need to replace cabling infrastructure.
Utilising the company’s RJ45 Wiring Hub, Polar Bear Design’s Zentium Pro Thermostatic Dual Room HVAC Controllers can now be wired in a star configuration over an existing Cat5 network. Up to this recent upgrade, Zentium Pro could only be installed via a daisy-chain wiring topology, which is perfect when specifying at the design stage. This new development allows for the full suite of features provided by the Zentium Pro to be accessed and connected via an existing Cat5 network cable infostructure, perfect for any ‘last-minute’ requests!
The Zentium Pro thermostat and UMC controller has been designed with integration in mind. Not only does this platform have compatibility with all the major brands of AV Control systems, but also directly to major Air-Conditioning brands to. This allows an extremely flexible design topology and allows the heating and cooling systems.
The Zentium has native features included, which would normally need to be custom programmed into a system control system.
